Hi there,

A while back someone hit my car and dented the front wing and scratched up it and the front bumper. The front bumper's condition has also degraded a lot recently, with really bad lacquer peel, and even more recently, a small chunk of filler has fallen off where it's been repaired by a previous owner. Because of this I want to buy a ready-primed front bumper, brand new, and a second hand wing so was just wondering what I would be looking at price wise?

Just to clarify, will want a fully primed front bumper sprayed, and a wing repainted to match, and it is an older car so probably would need to be blended

TIA

Depends on many factors, especially your locality. So probably better asking local body shops for a price than a car forum.

If you are supplying parts, I reckon between £500 -£750 dependent on exactly what needs doing. A bit of a finger in the air as it depends on other factors too.

What car is it mate? You could probably get both from a breaker in the correct colour unless it's very new or very rare

Tried looking for second hand parts but being an Alfa, getting the right part in the right colour is impossible, there’s a few bumpers but they’re all damaged, and there are no wings going in the right colour

You'll be better asking for bodyshop recommendations in your area & then asking them for prices.

As already said there can be a considerable price range depending on area of the country & also from bodyshop to bodyshop in the area.

Unless your bumper is coming from the main dealers it will still needing prepping and priming, the primer on pattern bumpers is usually 1 thin coat of cellulose and is crap.
