I really, really love these. Very Railmaster but 41mm and not too chunky.

Lovely retro feel imho.

A touch less retro, and slightly larger at 43.5mm - but I love the 300 M "Black Black" version at the bottom of that article.

I really like that. I could definitely see my buying one of those on the used market in a little while.

Fair enough, not much in it, but for me the subtle differences make all the difference.....

I agree. The sandwich dial and reduced text make all the difference.

I still like the one I had too, especially on a nato....

But love this new one.

They're different enough that a comparison doesn't make much sense IMO.

Whilst I love the 300's as a reissue, the PO 2500D was a better modern interpretation IMO.

ETA: those above are 300 M Divers, the OP is referring to 300s. A subtle but important naming difference.

Interesting to compare the bezels! I explicitly forbade them from replacing it during services, so it would retain that "I've see things you people wouldn't believe.." vibe. laugh

The new sandwich dial is great on the retro 300, not sure why people are posting pics of the Pierce Brosnan SM it's not the same watch at all and well a bit ugly.

The PO2500 is the best "modern" diver design though.

I’ve got a 2500 PO and a 8906 PO GMT and, like I say, I would definitely have one of these with the sandwich dial.

Totally different to the 300Ms as you say. Really not comparable.

I'd forgotten about this until I saw a full page ad on the back of the paper over Christmas, reminded me how much I love the subtle details including the font (particularly the 6 and 9), always wanted a Radiomir for the same details.

I recently bought a 300M so no chance I'd get the approval to buy another though!
