So, press button to operate, car thinks its working but doesn't. Replaced the control unit but on activation nothing happens. No error codes thrown up.
Its in a service bay atm at a porsche centre and they are scratching their head. But, that is an interesting suggestion. Had a non working cd player (radio worked) in a 993. Replaced the battery for another reason and it worked.
