911 Mono Air Con?

Hi,

Quick question, I’m looking at getting an early 991 911 and I’m a bit confused with the air con options.
Some of the listings I’ve seen have an ‘AUTO’ button, most also with ‘SYNC’ on that button too but I’ve just seen one with ‘MONO’ as well.
I assumed just auto was single zone a/c, sync was for dual zone a/c but now I’m stumped with the mono.
Can you please enlighten me to the differences as I’d like to know what’s what before booking in viewings.

Different words same function; sync links the passenger side selection to the drivers, Mono sets the passenger side to the drivers selection.

I'm not sure I have seen MONO on UK cars? Only SYNC.......

My 2013 MY 991C4S is UK registered (C16) and has Mono on the button and can confirm it does exactly the same thing as Sync did on my previous 981 Cayman GTS, I.e. link the two temp controls.

On mine you repeatedly press the auto button and it steps through the options of sync and auto. Watch the symbols to see the stages.
