Audi A6 Avant 2007 2.0 TFSI SE CVT 5dr
Discussion
Hi Guys,
I am searching around to buy a car and after selling off my Zafira, I wanted something a bit more better looking but with alot of space, so I am seriously considering an A6 Avant. I was looking for advice and opinions on if i should get it or not, so here are the specs so far:
Audi A6 Avant 2007 2.0 TFSI SE CVT 5dr.
3 Previous Owners.
Automatic
114,000 miles on the clock.
£3750
From the pics, car seems to look clean and in good condition (will go to see the car this weekend).
Any advice in general about this 2007 model of car.
What things should I look out for, and how has your experiences been with this car? Worth £3750?
Checked the UK GOV MOT site and it has no recalls and the the MOT history looks clean as per my understanding:

The Audi CVT (or Multitronic in Audi marketing spiel) is an absolute dog of a transmission from a reliability and longevity perspective. It's a matter of when, not if, it will fail.
If you want an automatic car of this age, a conventional torque converter transmission is the way to go.

If you want a big spacious automatic petrol estate then look for an E Class:
