IFA recommendation?
Discussion
On the basis that we all understand that IM is not an IFA and doesn't ever set itself out to be such, are there any recommendations from PHers for decent, creditable, dare I say honest, IFAs? Perhaps preferably in the SE but that's not a deal-breaker with today's technology options. A close relative needs a significant amount of guidance for a quite specific situation they are in; I'd be more than happy in principle to introduce them to IM but my sense is that even with the individual attention which Private Clients provides, this person will need their hand held more closely and specific advice provided right through the process, hence the need for an IFA.

They are trustworthy in my experience and have provided very helpful planning for us. YMMV, obviously.
I think many/most of the IFA's have broadly stopped posting here since the start of "sponsorship" of this forum.
I don't have a good enough memory to list their names but I think there was someone called DoubleSix who used to be a regular on here. I'm sure you could track him down (and others, there used to be several) to see if the particular question fits his expertise.
