Drivers Door Mirror - Hangs Down

My drivers side door mirror doesn't stay up straight anymore. I assume there is some sort of bolt/nut the otherside. How easy is it to take off the internal door panel? Has anyone come accross this before?
I have an MOT next week and I need to get it fixed so any suggestions would be welcome.

There are numerous posts about this very subject...
Just do a search on droopy...!
Basically there is a smmal grub screw underneath the black sheath. You will need to cut down an allen key or drill a hole through the sheath and tighten from the underside of the mirror.

It is a bstd of a job ! To fix mine I cut the black sheath ( It is quite stiff and will go back on after, you could glue it if you want ) then twist the stalk assembley round and you will find a grub screw that sits right at the top and is reccesed into the door panel you can either tighten it up as much as you can ( 3mm allen key )and then twist it back to position and then waste about 4 hours trying to get a final tighten using a cut down allen key..........or drill a hole at the bottom of the assembley and put in a self tapping screw 4 mins ! ( thank Doddze for that tip )

To dig this one up.....I have just replaced the 'innards' of both my mirrors today.
The nearside was snapped off, the offside whizzing around with no end point but not droopy.
firstly have a gander at www.computermarket.com/mall/3933C3F3/OZ_Computers_Online_Mirrors_70.html they stock the internal bits, and as a result you can see the particular inside bits.
Yours is an S3C Like mine, with the griffith mirrors (also citroen cx, aston db7 and mclaren f1)
The grub screw is under the black collar, however you dont need to break it, just twist and lift, it will slide under the plastic mirror casing.
You will see at 12 o clock a brass grub screw. Whip an allen key in there, and loosen. The mirror will then lift off.
Looking inside the hole under the mirror you will see a torx bolt, under which is a metal collar, and rubber washer, unscrew the torx bolt, take the collar and washer out. This will release the mounting tripod. Give it a pull, it should come out easily enough.
Under that is the mirror carcass, and onto it should be a metal clip. Mine had come off. Originally it was soldered / welded on. If they come off the mirror will whizz about with no anchor point.
Some araldite or jb weld will fix it.
Reassemble, opposite to removal (sounds like haynes
)
Certainly solved my mirror snags.
Also, summit stock the glass £7 each if yours are a bit cloudy / broken.
