What about a review of the best drivers roads in the area?

Or a list of recent police speed camera sites?

Our local rag sometimes has a motoring section on a wednesday. The headline article is usually something like a Vauxhall Agila or an MGTF....The thing is usually written by some Woman (rendering the review invaild).

I'd like to see campaigns for sensible (read 'high') speed limits, removal of traffic calming. Generally slap the council numpties about who make the dumbfcuk decisions..

Oh and parking & traffic warden issues..

Many town centres are being rendered inacessible to motorists because of ridiculous schemes from councils.. this has a knock-on effect on local businesses. That warrants coverage.

Are you surprised by my answer?

Steve,

I've been a full-time freelance motoring hack for years. If you need any tips, I'll be more than happy to help.

It'd be good to have a few more TVR believers in the industry...

My local paper has a regular article on the motoring page, by a local branch of the institute of advanced motorists. always thrilling reading

I couldn't imagine what it would be like if daily papers did TVR reviews.

My Grandad, for some reason, sees something that he thinks he needs, buys it, then realises that it doesn't do what he thought it does, and that he doesn't really need it anyway.

He bought a DVD player about a month ago (fairly good sony one, after seeing an article on it)
He thought the picture would be 3D or something?
Nevertheless, he decided that it wasn't as good as he was expecting, the DVD's that came with it all had swearing on them, and films on VHS are cheaper anyway.
So he gave it to me after only using it once, and then unplugging it and putting it away in the cupboard for a few weeks.

Can't imagine what he'll trade the Rover 414i in for if he sees news reviews on sportscars??!!.........
.......But then again!!

Have a section on the "Practicalities of living with a supercar" - just borrow an exotic sportscar for a week from your local dealer and talk about the attention it gets, the performance etc. Then take it back and borrow another one!
