Lexus GS Bonnet stuck shut...

Not sure if this is the right place to post.

Issue is that the bonnet is stuck shut. So far tried having someone bounce on it as I pulled the opener from inside No luck.

Only other suggestions I can find are pulling the cable with mole grips or getting under the car.

Any ideas?

Mole grips not needed. Bouncing worked :-)

Bit late now but 1 trick if you don't have a helper is to pull the catch and bang your hand on the corner above the hinge.That sometimes works
