How cool is this?

[rebelstar]

Very cool - but the topic should be "Look at this artist's rendering of a keyboard". It doesn't actually exist. Hopefully one day...

Just been emailed the link to that, and was about to post it up....

Well when its out " I WANT ONE"

[malman]

Very nice - bet the price is too

on the subject of keyboards, how about?

Uber keyboard

or

Oooh it glows

I love the idea behind the Optimus keyboard. In the words of Clarkson... "WANT ONE... WANT ONE BADLY"

As for the illuminated mini-keyboard, that company is way behind the times . I built something not dissimilar to that a couple of years ago, using nothing more than a Microsoft Natural keyboard, an inverter, a length of electroluminescent cable and a tube of silicone.

I'll see if I have any pics on my system.

We have some black keyboards at work where the white letters have worn off I can let people have them for 30% less than £79 of the Uber keyboard

but it ain't ergonomic

I like the idea of the blank black board. Saw both on slashdot.

The artists impression would be a fantastic bit of kit - but simply not cost effective at the moment.

... not as good as this mouse. Been around for ages afaik , but creepy all the same!

Found it! My version of the backlit keyboard, from Sept/Oct 2002.
