BMW e90 318i rear differential

Hi newbie here can any body help I need a used diff for my vehicle 318i 6 speed petrol manual but having difficulty sourcing one. I live on the Isle of Wight do very little mileage so perhaps the same ratio may not matter but I could be corrected. I read that Touring442 had one but this was some time ago. Can any body help. You don't say what year/body/transmission yours is but scrapyards are brimming with dead E90's so you'll find one easily enough. Just pop your VIN into Realoem and find your diff ratio under 'rear axle'. Probably a 3.38, 3.23 or whatever. Unless it's really howling it's probably not worth doing at this stage, a £500 fix on what may be a £1500 car.
