Though of course I dont support torture, Im sure the guy will talk a great deal once "given the chance"

There was an interesting political debate in germany about this. It was about a case were the police caught a child kidnapper/murderer but he refused to disclose the location of were a young child he kidnapped was being held. The officers handed down beatings until he decided to give them the location. Would you think it would be justified in extreme circumstances like that ?

Just wondering, as i used to think the same thing, till i read about that..

I agree with that.. to get a conviction I think its questionable. To obtain onformation to safe lives is a very different matter.

Thin edge of the wedge when you start saying torture is ok in certain situations, just brings us down to the criminals level.

If this guy belongs to an organisation that straps bombs to themselves for the fun of it,then a maybe he's going to see torture as just a bit of foreplay,,looks like forensics are going to have their work cut out to get this **** convicted.
