Issue with Firefox after update...
Discussion
Close out Firefox and reopen with just a single tab. Right click on the top of the screen but not on the tab. You will get the option to remove the menu bar or customize the menus.
Also at the top right of the screen there will be 3 horizontal bars. Click on that to change all your options. While you're there turn off the automatic updates so it doesn't happen again.

Sound advice - why not download some malware onto your computer while you're about it? An out of date web browser is probably the easiest way to get something nasty on the typical PC, and it's not as if FF's design is amongst the most secure anyway.xeny said:

Web browsers won't stop malware. But it could be a lot worse; it could be a Microsoft product

??
This update is irritating me too, because the tabs aren't actually attached to the page like they used to be. The one you are on is a very slightly less grey colour than the rest of them, making figuring out what you are looking at difficult. Why do these bellends feel the need to mess with everything all the time?

And others wonder why I disable updates to stop this crap happening.Try this
Type, about:config into the search box.
Get through all the warnings
At the next page type Proton into the search box
Find the entry; browser.proton.enabled.
Double click on it to make it 'false'
It should fix it.

I believe that option will be disabled in the next major update. Hopefully they make improvements in the mean time. Try this

Anyone know a quick fix to remove the Tabs On Top arrangement & get back to having them below the address bar? I found this site but haven't tried it yet:

That could be down to your theme - for me the active tab is surrounded by a black box, the rest merge in to the background with no visible lines.NMNeil said:
