I paid a deposit £1000 via their website, car taken off sale, they sent me all paperwork via email, I noticed that there was a discrepancy with the mileage, pointed this out and requested that I have the correct millage stated, never got new order form by email, I wasn't planning to even view the car as a fair distance away I would have just collected, done this before with little trouble, car is only 18 months old.

As it happens I was unexpectedly in the area so arranged to view the car and didn't even test drive it as it looked fine, I was running late and still had balance of manufacturer warranty, I signed the same order at the premises. They agreed to deliver the car to me and the funds were paid, is this covered under Distance selling regulation or not?

Why are you looking to return it? The mileage discrepancy?

It's not distance selling if you viewed the car and signed the agreement on their premises.

Cars got a rattle coming from the dash, not a great problem but very annoying and previously I've had a similar issue, the problem was never fixed, in fact created more, a lot of hassle so just wanted to know where I stand and if I want to go through that experience again. I do love the car so will give them change to fix it. Good to know the options you have, probably would have been better if I never went to view the car!

As stated above, you went to their premises, viewed the car and signed the order, it isn't distance selling i'm afraid
