Ebay change payment method and remove Paypal

Had a threatening email from ebay today. I think they outsourced the writing of it to TV Licence. Email said because I haven't registered my bank details with them, I can no longer sell anything on there. Also, if I don't act within a short period of time, they will remove any live listings I have.
They sent another threatening email a few weeks ago basically saying that if you want to use PayPal, they can cancel your auctions, remove you from promotions etc.
I had a read up about the change. Basically, no more use of PayPal and ebay pay any money directly into your account. Thing is, it takes over two days to process the money transfer and ebay now charge a fee of over 12% plus 30p (I think) per transaction. You also have to register your bank details with them.
I don't see how I can post my items so quickly anymore. I used to post as soon as I could after seeing payment in my PayPal account. Waiting two days before even sending the money to you sucks big time. If you like to post when money is in your account, you will be waiting at least three days if everything goes smoothly.
I don't like the tone of the email. That, along with this change to payments, has really put me off selling on there.
Bizarrely, I see that bigger sellers still have the PayPal option.

You were never supposed to wait until the payment to clear before posting - eBay already put payment holds for new seller.Jakg said:

I guess now though ebay will say you've been paid, but you won't seen it for days.
Step 1: Sell something.
Step 2: Wait until you get the "buyer has paid" notification.
Step 3: Post goods out
Step 4: eBay transfer your money in a day or two.
What do you think might happen between steps 3 and 4? Why would you need to wait until the money is actually in your bank account? What do you think is going to go wrong?

The fee's are actually less if you calculate them compared to the paypal and selling fees - now it's just the 12.8%
They also take any listing fees or selling fees out of your profits before sending your paying - much better than getting stuffed with a big monthly bill in my opinion.
Stuff does take a few days to land in your bank, but it's hardly an issue is it really.
