My - new to me - Vantage

Hi Everybody,

After several months of reading, learning and searching for my First Aston
it arrived on Monday evening late from South of France (I live in France close to the Swiss border)
- 2007 Aston Martin Vantage V8
- 6 speed manual gearbox
- Midnight blue, Sandstorm interior
All maintenance dealer stamps and all invoices since 2014, 2 owner car, 60 000 kms, all original
Close to new condition, some micro scratches which are inevitable on dark paint and a little oil leak ( well after all it is a British car :- ) )

Here is a picture taken in the sun showing the nice blue and one from the dashboard





The Vantage is really great to drive. I was looking for one since a while. Apart from the heavy clutch (apparently the original and 63000 kms), the car drives really perfectly.

A lovely car, nice deep blue however, my eyes are drawn to the light coloured interior. To my eyes they look far nicer than the dark interiors.

Change the clutch, get a twin plate upgrade with lightened flywheel. It brings two benefits in lighter clutch pedal and also allows the engine to rev a little more freely from low revs.

Thanks, the interior color was one the deciding criteria for me as well, I really wanted a light interior, not many around
Lightweight flywheel and multi disk clutch are on my list, I will probably go for the AMR kit ( the Bamford Rose one would be my preferred option, but I live on the Swiss/French border, not really an easy option )
