Seat Memory Issue 2009+

Apologies if mentioned before but I cant find specific information on my particular issue. Ive looked on Volvo forums also where there is much confusion especially regarding key memory and the different years etc.
It is a 2009 V12 Vantage with lightweight seats.
It has seat easy access button on the side of the dash. (This has never worked in my ownership and I didn’t even know about its existence upon purchase)
All the other seat functions including memory worked for both seats.
My Ctek battery conditioner failed when I was away working and took the battery to dead flat.
New battery later and everything seemed ok including all seat functions working except memory for both seats.
The 2009 model year seems to be the later type that doesn’t need the seats limits of travel to be taught but is there a memory issue that needs a special reset. Is there a way to get in to teach mode?
Are the seat modules on these seats battery backed RAM or similar? Do I need to change a battery somewhere? What unit holds the memory?
My service centre (Genuine Aston) said that they sorted it but it may not last? That involved seat position learning and I believe the AMD software. They didn’t charge me.
My Foxwell scanner doesn’t even detect seat modules.

Thank you Emilio for your reply. Have you used it to see if the seat modules show when scanning?
My NT530 appears to look for the seat modules but then says it cant find them. I assume its part of my problem but just wanted to confirm the Foxwell does find them on a fully operational car.
It may suggest that the seat modules are not talking to the CEM but then I cant understand why my AM dealer could get them sorted but said it may not last? And it didnt.
