Road Angel Pure.

Not a BMW specific matter, but this is the forum I use most often.

If anyone has a Road Angel Pure (mine’s a new V2 model), are you happy with its accuracy with respect to location of cameras? Also, what difference do you see between the speed the Road Angel displays and what your speedo shows?

I used to have a Snooper Elite which, as far as I could tell was very accurate in terms of camera positions, and consistently showed speeds of 3 mph lower than my speedo (which was what I expected due to the speedo being set to deliberately read fast by BMW). Sadly, Road Angel took over Snooper and support/updates came to an end.

The Road Angel seems variable with respect to the accuracy of camera locations, and most of the time it only shows a 1 mph difference in speed. It is mounted on a dash mount located in the middle of the windscreen and so has a clear “view” of the satellites.

I’d be interested to hear what others think about the accuracy of their device.
