My renewal came in from Carole Nash and now I've got a 1260S Multistrada the compulsory excess is £600, up from £350 when I had an 2007 1100S Multistrada. (My second bike is a 2006 Triumph Scrambler, and the excess on that is £400)
I'm 56 with a full clean license and max NCD.
I gave Hastings Direct a call and they couldn't quote me for my 2 bikes ! frown

So is £600 a normal excess on a bike like the Multi these days ? Any other multi-bike Insurers I should give a call too ?

Cheers

I found the multi bike policies weren't competitive

I also found if you call and talk to them, most will "mirror" your no claims on your 2nd / 3rd bike

Bennett’s - two R1s, one with £250 excess and one with £350 (can’t remember which is which)

Alternatively just insure your excess.

Give BeMoto a ring - they have been the only ones that have sorted multi bike policies for me.

give Bikesure (bike branch of Adrian Flux) a go, I'm on a multibike with them and even BeMoto couldn't match it

All my bikes are with Bemoto as well.. have been with them for a few years now.

Haven't had to "use" them yet, but seem OK for not taking the piss.

I have two bikes on separate policies with different insurers that have each built up no claims discounts. Unsure if I'm allowed to do that.

Bemoto as has been said.

In fact I've just renewed my policy with them in the last 30 mins for 2 bikes. I actually asked if I could move one to a laid up policy as I haven't ridden it this year and I doubt I will, they quickly ran the numbers and said it effectively moves to a 3rd party F&T so would be about another £100 plus I'd need to upgrade the current locks/chains so left as is both fully insured.

Footman James by a country mile.

They will cover bikes 10+ yrs old as classics if you have a classic bike club membership.

When i had a larger collection it was a few quid per bike.

My renewal in march was about £500 for a new africa twin, 2001 fireblade, 2009 street triple, boxster, clio 200 and mx5 track car. Unlimited miles, commuting, etc, etc

You are but if you have a claim on one, you will find it will affect the other - hence the reason why many will "mirror" no claims
