Women are deemed the fairer sex, being somewhat more keen to keep themselves looking good. Botox, tummy tucks, gastric bands etc.

Off the back of this thread https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&...
I got thinking if I’d have any work done to improve my body/looks. I’m no oil painting by any means, but at 42 I’m in relatively decent shape at 5’10 and 12 stone.
Having watched that recent Friends Reunion program I was struck by how bloody awful most of them looked, like their faces had melted having had a load of face work.

Me, I think I’d probably have my teeth whitened (not Hollywood white, but clean white!) and maybe get a PT to get me fitter and a bit firmer.

So come on Gents, fess up. Money no object, what would you have done?

ETA- also, feel free to share what you have had done!

I'd do the bare minimum that is required for me to look attractive, to turn the eye of women as they walk down the street.

Looking at the source material, I think my best option would be to just have my brain transplanted into Tom Cruise's head.

Cheshire Housewives is the best thing to observe, how women (and some of the ‘blokes’) get uglier and uglier by the season. They even display their oddly shaped, botched breasts…

It’s on tv for a reason, entertainment, it sure is!

Dolly Parton nailed it… “it takes a lot of money to look so cheap’.

I recently went to see a plastic surgeon to get some work done on my face

I was given the choice of having the skin cancer cut out and being left with a scar ( aargh Jim lad ) or Leaving it to grow and possibly spread

I chose the scar

I’m not sure it made me look any better though

It's funny what women will find attractive.
An old friend lost his hand in a bike vs. car accident, and had a pirate type hook instead and in the pub he would casually scratch his nose with it.
The ladies were fascinated with it and would always ask "How did you lose your hand?". He would never say, but of course ladies being tenacious would keep on asking until he finally said
"Look, if I tell you how I lost my hand promise me you won't ask any more questions"
Of course the ladies always promised, and he answered "It was bitten off"
I could never understand how he pulled the women so easily biggrin

losing weight is easy, you just eat less, people just lack will power.

People who have work done on their face to attempt to look younger, look like they had work done and so don't look younger, just stretched,

I will just carry on as I am.

I suppose some laser eye correction might be handy, I don't need glasses but to be able to read a paper at 100 yards must have it's benefits!

I had my teeth deep cleaned with a sort of soda blasting about 10 years ago and have kept up regular whitening. Often get compliments, biggrin
I would seriously consider liposuction on my 'love handles' because no matter what, it's the place the fat clings to on me. Yes, I could probably work out a lot harder etc, I already eat healthily, but I'd like to see how it went and how long before it came back.
I'm 52 and thinning on top, but I couldn't bring myself to a hair transplant.

When I was at school in the 70s, pre seatbelt laws, one of the kids went thru the screen. Had a huge scar from his ear to the corner of his mouth. We were about 13. He was nothing special to look at before the accident, and was a mess afterwards. However, he kind of grew into it and by the time we hit 16, he had to fight the girls off. At one point he was knocking off 3 different stunners.....plus the mum of one of them rofl

Ive had various larger moles removed privately as precaution and some ones removed by the NHS that were becoming problematic.

Ive had my teeth straightened and was about to start the whitening process when Covid hit so will go back around this when I see my dentist in November this year.

If money was no object I would have a swimming pool put in as I lose a lot of weight fast swimming a couple of times a day and the way my local pools are at the moment I just can't get it and have put on c.15kg in 18mths ... great eh!

I always joke that if I won the lottery I would have hair plugs/transplant

I'd have a penis reduction.

It causes so many of my relationships to break down, and then I hear my exes talking and calling me a big dick, so maybe a smaller one would help?

Time an money new teeth an yeah full time PT but I like the gym, rest of it could care less to be honest. I will second the penis reduction though a smaller gentleman saussage would not solve the fact I am still a massive cock

Nothing, generally people that have work you can tell, I just don't get it personally, especially young women who have work in the mistaken belief that it keeps them looking young when in actual fact they end up either looking bloody ridiculous or they end up actually looking older.

I'm fortunate that at the grand old age of 46 and a half, I have no forehead or face lines, I could do with losing a couple of stone though, I know how to achieve it naturally but I like a drink too much!!
