Nice to see her past failures are not getting her down, she seems to have applied for the position of CEO for NHS England.
Did not see that job advertisement on Indeed, wonder what qualifications and experience you need.

At least it's all of us that know she's totally fking hopeless, not just the PM.

I'm sure the requirements for the job are that you have to be good mates with the Eton boys and a senior member of the Jockey Club.

Other than that, the selection process is totally independent and their is no bias whatsoever.

She seems to have spent all her time in charge of test and trace pottering around the building looking for a big enough wheelbarrow to cart the money home.

I shudder to think where we would be had she been in charge of the vaccination program.

It will be Hancock’s revenge to appoint her to CEO for the PM calling him hopeless.

Aside from the reanimated corpse of Harold Shipman I cannot think of anyone less suitable.

If she does end up getting the job, then it really would prove that with this government it is not what you know but very much who you know!

I hope the selection and interview process is extremely robust

If you don't think the selection and interview process is robust you can complain to the Prime Minister’s Anti-Corruption Champion.

Who is married to Dido Harding.

I'm really not not making this up.

Now basically I agree with all of you, but on LinkedIn I'm linked to a few BCG consultants and they've all been singing her praises having worked with her on test and trace. I've sort of assumed that's because they're all stuck in an echo chamber together but can't be sure.

She probably thinks that she’s done a marvellous job in test ‘n’ trace and fully deserves to get the top NHS job.

Ever considered that maybe, juuuust maybe, that the top of the pyramid is filled with high performers... Just normal people, with top few % of capability, that instantly walk into the job with multiple, national newspaper sized, targets on their back?

Juuuust maybe it isn't all one big conspiracy of mates inviting mates to sit at the table faffing around?

Could just be a small world up top?

Edit: Naaaah course not, they are all bezzies & it's all totally corrupt. We know it because we read a newspaper headline saying the system had its failings & social media told us about their rich club. hehe

Not sure if you're being serious but clearly not everyone is capable of running the NHS or a big business but it does seem a little odd that Mrs Harding can walk into these roles with seemingly no interview process.

But then as I said up thread there are seemingly plenty of people at BCG who worked with her and rate her highly.

I was once had an account with a company that was literary impossible to complain to that was run by Miss Harding. (TalkTalk)

Having got to the point I couldn't take anymore, I found that her phone number had appeared on ceomail.com and gave her a call. Unbelievably, she picked up and explained that she couldn't really deal with my issue right now as she was at the golf club but she would get her PA on it the moment she got time.

And to give her due, her PA rang me the next afternoon, took all my details and my problem and a refund was issued by the end of the week. 6 months trying to get a problem sorted and then one phone call and its solved.

I still binned TalkTalk off asap, bloody useless company.

A good boss would implement procedures that deal with customer problems, not solve the handful that simply strike it lucky!
