Dallas burton Aston event

How many people from here are going to the Aston heritage event at the Dallas Burton polo club on the 26th?

I will be there on the Aston Installations stand, so come and say hi.

Last time I drove past it, I thought the whole place had been sold to HS2 and that they have started work. They have indeed started work, but I’m told it’s next door or at least the club and the businesses on the site are still trading.

Latest I’ve heard is >600 cars. Tickets are still available. I believe there’s quite a few trade stands.

lol, I worded that badly... I am a member of the colourful V12 whatsapp group, but not FB. Tried the wider FB Aston Groups for a week and realised it was full of people that, well lets just say, I didn't feel the need to correspond with, so I'm off all FB again.

So seemingly we now have two mediums for the same thing - just checking that the FB version isn't getting exclusive content now!

We were old fashioned and actually discussed the event in person at our gathering on bank holiday Monday.

Some had already bought their tickets prior to bank holiday monday. I bought mine last week.

I did post yesterday on FB to discuss where to meet (Tesco’s, just down the road, leaving at 9.45 now you ask)

I wish you were coming it would give me convoy company on the long road south.

And of course if Dibble catch us speeding they’re bound to stop you rather than my dull green specimen.

When did you commit to the Yorkshire event?

Have you just bought that car from Bristol?

If you are on FB you are more than welcome to join our group.

Buy tickets for the event, get to Tesco’s from 9.15 onwards and enjoy the company of other colourful V12 Vantages.

We are planning a tailgate picnic for lunch at the back of our Astons

The advantage of the AMHF is that you don’t have to stick anything up your nose to get in.

The advantage of the AMHF is that you don’t have to stick anything up your nose to get in.

Never put anything up my nose, other than my finger from time to time!

Ahh so its the AMHT event at Dallas.... Dunno how I missed that, but hey ho, Holmfirm isn't half as far, and I've given my word that will be there, so can't back out now.

My nose comment was merely referring to the fact you have to have a negative flow test for covid before they let you in to the Yorkshire Motorsport Festival.
