I thought he did pretty well to be back on his feet and and be looking about in such a short time. I bet he couldn't believe his luck when he gat that chance to take it all in.

Bet that shook him a bit. Glad they weren't decent snipers. As far as I remember a headshot is the target to go for. Shame he didn't see the shot and have a nearby tank to do the honours there and then.
