Beaver,
I see you've had both Mk1 & Mk2 GT3 cars.
Which one is most fun to drive on the road in your opinion.
I've previously had a 996 C2, and 996 C4S, found the older C2 with sports suspension better fun than the 4S.
Anyway would appreciate your comments.
Thanks,
Sandy D
Tough one. I think the Mk2's improved engine made it better on the road, plus it felt a little softerand thus nicer for everyday driving.
however the mk 1 is better still, especially now the gearbox works!
on a more serious not what did you think about the CSL? and what have you got at the moment!?
Hey Ross,
What did you do the gearbox ?!
CSL was great, but a backward step from Porsche ownership, and I really didn't like the SMG 'box compared to manually shifting. Ultimately, too much electronics !
Still have the RS but hankering after a 360...
changed it for a new one (or rather porsche's warranty comapny did!) CSL quite tempting as i thought it might be 80% as good as the 911,but i can get the kids in it, and cos they're quite cheap now I could keep the 911 for when i dont need the space. RAther fancy a 997c4s or a turbo for the same reason but more expensive and difficult to justify keeping the gt3 then!
