No doubt many will disagree, but for my homemade curries, these have long been my favourite naans:

https://www.tesco.com/groceries/en-GB/products/287...

For a while now they've not been in shops, and clearly not online either.
Any idea if this is due to Covid? Or have they just stopped making them (cannot understand why they would)

These things seem to be on the shelves where the ones above used to be:

Admittedly not tried one, but they don't look as nice, and also seem way too big!

The new ones are much better than the old ones, IMHO the old ones were too doughy.
They do a one dusted in chili powder, thats kind of far too hot for any bread ever to be. :P

Give the new ones a go, think you will be happy biggrin

When you say the new ones, do you mean that second link I posted? So they are actually the replacement for the ones I liked? They don't seem to be anything to do with a Tesco brand though?

we buy these ones now

(thesecond link)

They are great. Quite thin in the middle so careful when heating up if you do it in the grill.

Don't think you will be dissapointed.

I've bought those ones from Morrisons for years, I think they're as close to a real naan as you'll get from a supermarket (which admittedly isn't very close, but they'll do!)

They aren't all stodgy and doughy like a lot of the supermarket naans. A tiny sprinkle of water and under the grill on both sides and they're ok, don't overdo them or as said above the thin bit in the middle goes brittle and too toasted.

have also been buying these for some time. Consistently good. Also like these - not naan as such, but lovely flatbread with no additives https://www.sainsburys.co.uk/gol-ui/product/wraps/...

Have had these a few times and they have been really good - I know Iceland and a couple of other places sell them as a pack of two, never seen them in a pack of three though.
