Previoulsy damaged S2

Hi guys

I have just seen an S2 in the clasified section - its a 2001 blue S2 for £11,500.

I really like the car but im not too sure if getting a CAT D registered car is a wise idea - ive had no experience of this before. What are your thoughts?

At £11,500 is that much of a saving over a straight car?

probably a £3k saving..depends on what it was originally Cat D for...you would want to have a thorough inspection and also be aware that it may be difficult to re-sell later
