E46 M3 Carbon Black paint cost

The driver's side wing on my E46 M3 has finally succumbed to the dreaded rust.

I have purchased a new wing from BMW, need a bodyshop to remove rusty wing, prep and paint my new one, install wing.
Whilst it is in, I figured I might get the rear bumper painted too, as it has a couple of parking scuffs.

Their labour rate is broken down and all very fair but the paint cost within that for just a wing and a bumper is coming in at £485, plus VAT.

I will get a second quote, but I'm just rather gobsmacked at the price of the paint! Is that normal?

I had some paint done recently in my 130 LE which is carbon black. The guy who did it said that the paint os bloody expensive.
