I happened to see this the other day whilst out shopping. Does it look right to everyone? Or has something let go. As far as I know the chassis is rust free and the car hasn’t been in an accident.
It looks like that plate in front of the drivers rear cheek is separated from the body by about 6-7mm. The other side is flush.

I'd say that's a pretty good fit for a TVR... I wouldn't worry , lots of other bolts holding the chassis to the body, it won't fall off smile

Ha! Thanks chaps. That’s a relief.

Just wanted to say, I fitted a lower temp fan switch this summer. It’s totally transformed the car! Doesn’t go over 90c. Gears aren’t sticky anymore. Never gets too hot to restart. Lovely. Very happy

Looks pretty normal to me, too.

I’d just scrape out any road grime that may have collected in the gap between the metal tab and body tub, then fill it with WaxOyl Underbody Seal - don’t want to give the tin worm something to dine out on!

Remove the crud and mastic might reveal that plate to be thin and rusting badly.
It only holds the seat belt so no worries there as two more are holding you in.

If it checks out sound wink feel that void and plate to body with a easily removable RTV sealer etc you dont want moisture doing its best behind that mount, clean off dirt etc 1st , thats under constant barrage from that rotating road wheel with what ever it pleases frown
