Love that.

Black alloys dont suit at all though; I'd go a bit lighter - anthracite, or similar.

Funnily enough, that’s the only thing I’m not sure about as well. But There’s no choice. They actually look much better than in the photo, which makes them look very dark and solid. Once I’ve lived with it for a bit I might see about having them redone. As you say anthracite would just lift it a bit. The standard brakes are black I think the red helps.

Really like the black wheels, helps the blue to pop more, silver or grey wheels would detract from that imo

Great choice, agreed on the wheels.

I think that design would diamond cut well. Anthracite two tone would really show them off.

D'ya know what, regardless of all the stick the RS4 & 6's sometimes get, they are still the best looking estate car on the roads today IMO.

Fantastic OP, enjoy!

Gorgeous car cool

Alloys and the car colour need to compliment each other IMO; I reckon a bright silver with a sparkle lacquer would work best, personally... However, a nice gunmetal grey would work well too I'd say

That’s a cracking colour.

I reckon sone lighter wheels would set it off too.

Hi all,
Thanks all for the comments. It does look slightly lighter in the flesh than the photo, I’ll try and get something that catches it. It’s a lovely thing to drive. Despite the power it is actually far more relaxing than my previous Golf gti performance, which seems to egg you on a bit. I haven’t floored it yet as running in but you put it in RS mode and squeeze the throttle and my god it shifts.

Apologies for the original title which crossed the line, but many thanks to the mods for updating to my suggestion thumbup

The car is going for a full detail and ceramic coating in a week’s time, when that’s done I’ll get some photos and upload them.

And yes I know I’m a lucky git but it’s probably the last fling of petrol heaven before buying something with a three pin plug. I’ve driven the Etron GT, it is the future smile

I hear ya .. with the last fling of the petrol engine thing.
I'm doing the same thing, only an m140i but having vast amounts of fun tuning it and driving it sideways.

I'm not a fan of the blacked out everything, wheels, windows, bumper trim, etc, but hey each to their own and I'm sure you love it.
But that said, what a car, great shape, great performance, and great engine.
Enjoy it while you (we) can matey !!!
