Nipped up to St Andrews thurs night to watch Nicklaus on Fri, night porter at the hotel swore to guard car all night, which he did by all accounts:) Get to the public car park, given level space first on a row, at time to leave lovely car park girlies stop huge line of traffic with big smiles to let me out:D

So many people waved/photo'd the car, great fun.

600 mile round trip, car behaved fantastically, trip back down M90, M74, M6, A66, virtually no cars on the road, now have a Noble covered in midges and still smiling at Glasgow to home in 2 hours, accompanied by my 60+mother who couldn't stop laughing.

What a top car:D:D

Sounds great, don't suppose you're up for attending the WYIOC scooby meet this month? I'm getting outnumbered by Ferraris & Lambo's (as well as Evo's!).
Steve
ps, WYIOC now stands for 'West Yorks Interesting Other Cars' allegedly

Ey up Steve,

Tried to get to one last year along with a certain gentleman with his rather ruf car but always seem to be busy every bloomin date you set.

Evo? It's a girls car isn't it? Well my wife has a 5 so it must be

Will keep an eye out for your meets, one day I might actually get there!!

Have you been out on track yet in yours?

Cheers,

Blot

Next meet is 28/7, new venue in Huddersfield (check out the new WY section on scoobynet).
No track days yet, will probably do the Rallydrive one first to get a feel for it. If you're attending any track days though give me a shout & we can have a Noble convoy of 2!

Went to Falmouth for a long weekend in the company of 3 Tuscan's and a Tamora. Most of the attention from by-standers was eagerly directed towards the Noble with a young chap in Asda's car park just standing, gawping at the side of the Noble for a good 10 minutes. When he asked about the TVR's and said he'd heard they weren't particularly reliable, there was much knashing of teeth from at least one of the Tuscan drivers' whos' exhaust had started disintegrating earlier that morning....

One lady running a small car park pushed the TVR's to the back whilst the Noble was parked right by the Hut where 'she could keep an eye on it'....

Much fun, especially racing a RUF porsche!!!!

True to form, have a prior engagement then (trackday), doh! Elvington is great place to explore it's potential, but not on a dry day if you want to have any rear tyres left, last time I was there with the noble, Ash was there and another Noble joined in the afternoon, which is the only time I've ever seen another one on the road!

No problem. Had thought about the Elvington TD but Ian completely wrecked the tyres on his 360CS so was hopeing to find a less abrasive track or get hold of some new tyres first.
Thinking of Elvington, is anyone going to Ten of the Best on 31/7, looking at the times posted for the southern shootout thing TOTB seems to be well ahead with numerous potentially 9 second cars (I'll never forget Rocket Ronnie's 9.9 at TOTB2) & some awesome 200mph+ supras. As Andy F ran 10.1 there last week in his Scooby it should be worth watching.
