Sorry if this has been covered before - the search engine doesn't seem to be working.

Has anyone had any experience of coming on and off ferries? I don't want to get to the ferry and end up perched.

There was a thread about it that I found when I typed in "front splitter" and "ground clearance", but if the search facility isn't working then thats not a lot of help! I think it was mentioned that they do have facilities for low cars if you notify them in advance.

I'll give the search another go tomorrow, then. Thanks for the tip.

Went to lemans this year and had no problems at all on a P&O Stenna ferry. Had more problems with Hoverspeed in my Elise the year before. Hoverspeed the parking was much more cramped too, and the staff couldn't give a damn.

With or without the splitter, it's no problem. But if you do have a splitter fitted, you may have to apply full lock just before the step up or down from the main ramp...

M400. Speedferies on the way to le Mans. Fantastic staff even gave us room to open doors etc, and guided us on/off. No problems at all.
