Idea is to share things you have done or continue to do that are cheeky, don’t cause any particular harm or serious inconvenience to anyone but are hopefully amusing to atleast yourself.

I’ll start us off. One of my many hobbies is lock picking and decoding. I have been known to unlock and then swap peoples locks over and then re-lock them. Farmers gateways are a good one, gates opposite each other with different locks on, open them both and swap them over. No harm done and no damage to the locks. I find this more amusing than I likely ought to, imagining the confusion etc. Also hopefully highlights how poor a lot of supposedly quality locks are. What have you lot been up to?

Are you too much of a coward to actually wait around, film and laugh at someone who you've fked around with?

I can imagine you screaming 'it'saprankit'saprankit'saprankit'saprank' as you get what you deserve.

I'll do this carefully (no names, no pack drill) so it can't come back and bite me.
I used to work with a complete arse, who made my working life a misery.
It got so bad that I decided to leave. On my last day, I pretended my car had
broken down so I did my rounds in his car (the bosses car really). It was of a
make and model that was a well known rally car at the time. So, I took it up
a rough old track at high velocity for a mile or so. On this 'special stage',
both the boor and bonnet popped open and the suspension crashed down
on the bump stops - a lot. A sneaky look showed the inner wings were nicely rippled.
Back on the road, there were some strange noises and a distinct weirdness in the steering.
Revenge, as always, was best served cold and the car soon disappeared from the works
car park.

I live next to a farm
I hear the farmer rounding up his cattle at 6am, and at this time of year its not unusual to hear his tractor running around the farm at midnight.

I'm sure he won't mind fking about with the locks on his gates and adding another hour to his day for your amusing japes

Do you think they think to try the opposite lock with their key or just get pissed off with more expense and replace a broken lock

One thing we did years ago with a really fussy work mate in our secure work car park

Collect smashed car glass from local car crime hot spot

Wind down window on his car, sprinkle glass on floor outside his car, make it look like it’s been broken into

When he runs across large site to security office, quickly sweep it up, wind window up and watch for confusion

Not lead by me and probably considered workplace bullying now.

I have considered that as I genuinely have no intention to cause serious inconvenience or financial cost, different locks as in one may be a Yale and one a squire for instance, or one with a key way and the other a combination so an obvious change and easily recognisable as to what has happened.

Nah. You sound like a bit of a c-unit. The sort of person who finds this sort of thing hilarious until you're on the receiving end of such 'hilarity'. rolleyes

You might not set out to "cause serious inconvenience or financial cost" but since you don't stick around to find out, I guess you don't really care.

Perhaps someone will catch you in the act & you'll end up picking up your own teeth with broken fingers. I'm sure you'll find that hilarious as well.

I'm thinking the last thing anyone would think of is that they've had their locks changed when they're trying to get into their own fields.
Most will think the lock is faulty so cut it off. Not really what a farmer wants when his cattle are ready for milking in a field and he's got to drive around to find something to cut it with.

I've hammered golfballs up exhaust pipes before now and once someone parked up against a wall where there was a chain attached. I pulled it out and fastened it to the towing eye. I found a huge dildo once, so attached it to someone's front grille.
Took a D Dealers CCTV out with an air rifle.
Another particularly nasty piece of work used to brag about his criminal activities, how many people he'd ripped off etc. I grassed him up and the Police pulled him in one of the nearby towns. As he couldn't explain where he'd got the several thousand he had on himself they took the lot off him.
To me it's good to make these kind of peoples lives a little more difficult.
I'm currently moving away from this terrible place smile
Why are people so keen to out themselves as either fantasists or utter pricks?

OP, reasonable idea for a thread, bad example given.

It's like anti-social " jokers " who find it hilarious to piss in kettles or spit in your beer.
That ain't mischief, that's bloody sick.

Yes you are probably correct. In hindsight perhaps wasn’t the best example to choose. Anyway hopefully once people have finished tearing me a new one we can enjoy other peoples naughty activities. I’ll give it some thought and see if I can share some more that won’t get people so uppity laugh

I covered that in my second post. 30 seconds of confusion then realisation someone is messing with them, that is all.

You don't sound much better than the scum you talk about. Intentionally doing damage to someone else's property. lower than scum.
