The best answer I could come up with is it escaped from a Gerry Anderson set, although I'm not convinced it isn't a functional agricultural vehicle. Does anyone have any better ideas?

Good suggestion I think.
It doesn’t appear to have windscreen wipers or indicators so not a road vehicle.

Where was this? Sometimes sniffing around Google maps can reveal the kind of place where such a thing might reside. In the case of it being a business there might be a website which reveals the answer.

Very off road tyres. I'd say it'a farm vehicle for moving animals and things around.

Very cool and looks like something from 'UFO'.

The Mk2 Ranger Supercab towing it is pretty rare too.

I'm annoyed that I can't find that particular one but that is what it's for, driving under trees.

Thanks for all the replys it does seem similar to the vineyard sprayer. I think the photos were taken south west of Yeovil.

SW of Yeovil, that'll be a cider orchard sprayer then.

That makes perfect sense, especially as it looks like a farmyard it's pulling into.

Thanks for your help.

I don't know why but I have an irrational desire to own one of those and use it as my daily! I could have the rear section replicated in clear perspex and turned into a giant snow globe which would operate when I'm driving it.
