Women throws a cup of ice water on a McDonalds security guard and he then beats seven bells of crap out of her. Think he might be losing his job.

I'm with him. Throw something (can be anything) at me I'm going to defend myself.

Pretty obvious she was going to do what ever it took to get some kind of reaction.

What she got was an over reaction and I imagine he will be in a world of trouble too..

No one thinks his reaction is maybe a bit over the top?

FTFY.

Kicking her in the head and hitting her with a baton while she's on the ground? Really?

Way beyond the bounds of any reasonable self defence.

Impossible not to think that.

Chasing someone down the street (let alone a girl), batoning them and kicking them in the face whilst they are down is not 'defending yourself'.

My personal opinion on using force by Security guards is that the response by a security guard (IE a supposed professional?) should be proportionate to the threat presented.

A (drunk or mentally unwell?) woman throwing some water and then gets chased off and an initial hit (ok fair enough) but then ground stomped multiple times - seems a bit excessive.

The proportion of response is not in keeping with the threat so I suspect losing his job would be fair . I doubt he'd have done that if it was a big burly guy , seems like just an excuse to kick someone while they're down.

That being said, I suspect this woman will think twice before acting in such a way in the future.

A bit of an over reaction but should teach the woman a lesson.

Also, we can't get pissy that it was a woman - equality and all that...

Who were the people filming / encouraging her? They didn't seem to be her friends.

Are private security guards aloud to carry batons / weapons?. I thought they all carried the big mag lights which just happen to be handy to bash someone with.

Agreed on that, can't have it both ways.

Are you mental? She was clearly out of order in her actions, but didn't cause him any harm. His reaction is so far over the top.

He'll be very lucky not to do serous prison time for that.

Feel sorry for the chap. Just doing his job in a sthole part of Birmingham, and gets the contents of a cup chucked over him leaving him soaked and feeling threatened.

Did her over react? Of course he did, you don’t kick someone in the head. However none of this would have happened if it wasn’t for the muppet goading him for TikTok likes.

My guess would be, assuming it is correct that she is homeless and mentally ill/drunk/under the influence, that she was angry about not being let in. His reaction is a total over reaction and deserves every thing he gets. As for the baton, surely that is another offence, carrying an offensive weapon.

I can’t believe anyone thinks this is acceptable.
