The Guardian is reporting that two male Australian nude sunbathers on a beach south of Sydney were each slapped with a 1000AUD fine for breaking Covid lockdown rules after a rogue deer startled them, causing them to flee into the bush, becoming lost and sparking a search by a police helicopter.
Obviously, the response in the Australian press and social media, long noted for sensitivity and compassion, has done its best to be supportive over this distressing incident.
