Weirdest thing you have found in a secondhand car?
Discussion
Not really that weird but found in a Saxo VTS i bought in late '09 to be stripped for a track car.
The car already stank of cannabis when i picked it up so i wasn't exactly surprised, when i was stripping it out, to discover a number of reasonably filled bags of cannabis - spread around / stuffed behind the internal front door cards and rear quarter panel trims. In addition to that there was a condom (unused / still in wrapping thankfully) under the rear seat.

A mate went on holiday to Spain and ended up staying there. His Fiesta was sat on his parents' drive for a few months. They wanted rid of the car but neither could drive. I bought it off him very cheap but had to evict its new residents. Even after the nest was removed I used to see the odd one buzzing around and sitting in the car made my skin crawl. I was glad to sell it.

The security pass/ id card of the original owner of my Peugot 307cc, down the seat, I thought she'd been murdered! She was an actor who'd had a bit part in Corrie so I was able to ascertain her whereabouts.
that makes you sound like a murderer lol, bit part in corrie lolBack in 1999 I bought a second hand 318is from my local bmw dealer.
Amazing, car, loved it so much. Had bad clutch judder so I took it back in. When it came back, being a 19yr old lad I started poking around under the bonnet. Opened the air box…… around 10 perfect condition chocolate footballs, all wrapped and not a mark on them!
Called the dealer, “must have been a squirrel or some thing”
Only way in to the air box was through the front grill, we worked out only a mouse could fit….. but not the chocolate footballs…. So how?
Either the previous owner (doubt it from speaking to her) or the dealership (also doubt it, the reputations damage would be terrible and my family were good customers).
So how did they get in the air box? We’re they of German origin? Was it a mechanic joke? Magic?
I will never know the answer!

I bought an "off road adventure" type Nissan Patrol from a guy locally. It had been his son's and he'd part prepared it for a round the world trip then changed his mind and set off by plane instead leaving the car behind with his Dad. After a couple of years, the Dad got fed up with it clogging up his driveway so (with his son's permission) sold it to me.
It had several "secret" compartments including one under the boot floor containing his weapons stash. An air rifle, a couple of machetes, a truncheon and various hunting knives etc.
I phoned the Dad and told him there was some of his son's stuff left in the car, he didn't want anything to do with it and told me it was mine to do with as I pleased.
