Pandey has been given exclusive rights by Ecclestone, who built the Formula 1 franchise, and has also been granted unprecedented access to tens of thousands of hours of archival footage from Formula 1 management.

Ecclestone, now 90, was extensively filmed at his home in Gstaad during the COVID-19 lockdown, revealing his life story and the story of the birth, growth and success of Formula 1.

“Bernie has been able to reflect, not just on his days as one of the greatest sporting impresarios of all time, but also on his life. In his 90 years, he has travelled the world and met everyone who is anyone, yet he remains incredibly personable and immensely funny. It is a joy to tell his extraordinary story, in full, for the first time,” said Pandey.

I would rather see and hear from the team owners about Bernie and one or two drivers who are still alive from the early 70s and 80s. Frank Williams, Ron Dennis, etc.

I agree, no doubt endless people have amazing stories to tell that can't whilst there remains a risk of being sued. On the other hand though.. history is a story curated by those that survive it... In other words, the 'truth' that comes out when someone passes away, has a funny habit of being the truth that best suits the person telling it!

But most of all, you're assuming he will die - he may not. We know so little about his species, other than that they land on their feet literally no matter what and can happily breed in to their late 90's.

I've often thought of all the 'deals' hes been involved with over the years I wonder if one of them was not with a geezer with horns and pointy hooves.
