What did you get up to?

SL65 was in fine form.

I managed 191 in the morning roof up and 184 in the afternoon roof down and windows up and 180 roof and windows down. That run was blummin noisy. Fastest Vmax for the uber-panzer yet.

Is there a result table? Want to see how fast the impressive Ford GT was. Shame the M5 was lmited. It had a great turn of speed once into its stride.

Rob at DMS is threatening to re-limit my car if it beats his Porker next time :D

Who invited that Ultima? Pesky thing.....Managed to nobble GuyR's usual victory :D, and also no Yellowbird, so I was looking to have the three pointed star at the top of the pile. Ultima! I wonder if he had a back massage from his seat on the way home.....

4 mpg and sunburn. Viva Vmax.

The Exige was hitting 142 all day long.

On my last run of the day I got it up to 143.

That was only in 5th gear though. Could get a fair bit more but would need a lot more room.

The bends were more interesting to me. Highest on the day at the long left hand sweeper as you come up to the 747 was about 125mph

My day was partly ruined by the damn unexpected....fuel line blocked due to a fuel tank deterioration problem and the ruf was only pulling a measly 180 ish when I retired in order to avoid expensive repairs....the conti reached 171 though, which surprised me

until next time..

Your car looked deflated (parden the pun), parked up with a flat rear. It is a fantastic car though.

S

p.s. Best noise on the day, I'd go for Hughsie's Chim or the Cerb, I'm still a little unsure. But then there was the 512, oh and Simon's Murci.............
