Deleted photographs....!!!!!

[Dave3166]

Hi all.
I think I know the answer to this question, but here goes.
My son has accidentally deleted photos from his Samsung galaxy phone.
Is there anyway he can get them back.
Thanks for any help on this.

Regards.

Dave.

Do you know if they were stored on the SD card or internal? Might be easier to try use a recovery program on your PC with SD card. Also Is there not a 'recycle bin' type thing on android in one of the last updates he can try recover from?

Deleted , then deleted from the deleted folder ?

My iPhone has a "recently deleted" section in the photos app. Any photos that I've deleted stay there for 30 days and are then gone forever. Up to that point, photos in the "recently deleted" folder can be selected and permanently deleted forever there and then, or recovered back to the regular photos section. Does the Samsung phone have any comparable feature?

Thanks for replies.
I think he was trying to clear up some phone space or something and accidentally deleted them during that process.

Is he logged into any Google account on the phone, have they all been automatically sent to his Google Photos cloud storage?

Thanks for the reply, will ask him tomorrow

Photos > Library > Bin on my Android then restore
