Storage of guitars in Garage!
Discussion
Hi to all, I have some fairly nice guitars but due to downsizing my house by a fair amount I no longer have room for them in the house.
I have a detached uninsulated and unheated garage however! Is there any chance this would be a suitable location to store them if I bought a good quality flight case to fit them in?
It would need to fit 5 guitars all electric (4 at a push 5 is incase i buy another!) and ideally cost less than £500.
Answers on a postcard please!

My hope is that there is a flight case which is well sealed and can help with this.
The case would be opened weekly to allow me to play the guitars so stale air would not be an issue but yeah i am worried about de-lamination of fret boards and structural cracking due to changes of temperature.

It's not so much changes in temperature you need to worry about, it's changes in humidity. Wood expands and contracts across (but not along) the grain in response to changes in humidity. If you go ahead with the flight case plan, place a large packet of desiccant in each one, there are some types that can be 'recharged' which will ensure their continued efficacy.
