Loved it!

Ate out most days, restaurants were lively, people got on board, tried plenty of places I wouldn’t normally.

What’s not to like.

In the big scheme of things it didn’t cost much.

Bring it back I say and while you’re at it include clothes shops.

Thoughts?

I work in hospitality and the general concencus was it was a scheme that was poorly thought out and the industry doesnt want it again or need it. It caused more problems than it solved. The wastage from people over ordering was obscene.

Very depressing, I often feel like I don't belong on this planet.

Don't bring it back. I have friends who work in the hospitality sector and they said it bought out the worst in people. Also you end up attracting scum class who ordinarily wouldn;t go to restaurants. The abuse, both verbal and physical my friends were getting was silly high.

I enjoyed it and abused the hell out of it. 3 meals a day for some of it.

But it was still an absurd idea and north of £500m isn't small change even in Covid times.
