Hopefully someone can help.

We use eBay promoted listing for our own brand lines on our eBay store.
However on the 2nd of June 2021 we noticed it seemed like our promoted listings had vanished from eBay.

Upon checking our Advertising dashboard our eBay sponsored listings have gone from 200k impressions daily to around 200 and 0 clicks.
As if someone has pushed the off button on our advertising campaign yet its showing as active on all the same items.

When speaking to eBay it seems there is no answer. I have stopped the campaign and started a new campaign yet we get 0 clicks or impressions.

My account is top rated, no issues at all.

its a very clear technical fault, yet i cant seem to get it resolved.

I also checked the eBay seller forum and find its not just us and the issue dates match up perfectly with other people.

Are any sellers on here finding the same issue?

In may we did 90k in revenue on sponsored listings alone, and in june its 2k frownfrownfrown

Our eBay sales have fallen off a cliff as well. I will take a better look into it tomorrow but the majority of our sales are from promoted listings. Will update tomorrow.

Check your item specifics, they are ghosting not just the none compliant ones but all of the account for none compliance.

Will be interesting to see.

I’ve been told by CS that they are going to evaluate my account on the 5th and it should start to work again. But no real apology for 30 days of poor sales. It’s also cost them money in advert fees 🤷🏼‍♂️

Our normal organic listings seem ok. But we do get a nice boost of sponsored.

Item specifics are all showing as fine.
Had an old listing that needed 8 that I just deleted but now all listings have 0 recommendations.
The situation is puzzling

eBay traffic has taken a real nose dive since around March for us and really bad through June.

However for some reason it has started to pick up this week, which I suspect was in part due to pay day/end of month.

Take a look at optiseller which have different reports on what is missing from your listings and bulk tools to edit them.

I've also experienced similar issues recently, albeit on a smaller scale. I was doing 100 quid a day on average but that went to 30-40 quid overnight. I checked to see whether someone was copying what I was making, at a lower price, nothing. I checked my promoted listings which seemed fine. I thought it was just people buying different things, so spent a lot of time creating new products. After a couple of week, sales started increasing again and this week they're back at the normal level.

I'm so heavily reliant on ebay as it's the main place people go for my type of product. I struggle to drive traffic to my website, I can't sell on Amazon either. I'm going to try etsy as another avenue as this recent ebay issue has highlighted the old "eggs in one basket" analogy.

My organic sales are good. I just find it odd my promoted ads have almost been switched off.

This is my advert dashboard. It just turns off in June 202q, yet my competitors are still sponsored and getting large sales volumes.

Try a mixed strategy with auctions as well, with regard driving traffic if it’s a one off purchase your reliant on search but if it’s repeat then look at a QR code on the item with “scan me” on it leading to an offer landing page.
