DBS 2008-2009 Good Investment?

Hi guys. Since the DBS 08-12 (Manual Coupe) have reached near bottom of depreciation any owners here share to chip in on the following inquiries as considering to own one.
- Any parts that we need to look out for that cost alot for maintenance
- Any website/shop that provides parts and reasonal prices can either be genuine or aftermarket OEM?
- By looking at picture the DBS seem to have very low front bumper and long overhanda compared to DB9 or Vantage v8/v12 hows the drivability of the car on normal usage?

I can't answer any of your questions about the cost of owning and running a DBS but what I can advise is don't regard almost any modern car as an "investment". Buy it because you like it and want to drive it. The market is too volatile, and with BEVs on the horizon I don't think anybody really knows what will happen to the prices of ICE cars long term.
If your car happens to appreciate then regard that as a bonus.

If you want a good investment, buy a Mk1 Ford Escort or E30 BMW M3. The government will do all they can to price out gas guzzlers in the near future making them all plummet in value unless just used as part of a collection, not used regularly. Adding more and more ethanol to the fuel will kill off an awful lot of cars.
As for the other questions........
those low carbon splitters are very susceptable to damage and are very pricey although they are available in the aftermarket as copies.
Clutch seems problematic until a dual plate one is installed, again, not cheap.
Buy one to enjoy it, few modern cars will be a good investment.

I bought a very low miles 2009 DBS manual in 2019. Was looking at them for a few years. Prices went very high for manuals in 2016/2017 and then levelled back. I think they have increased again which will likely continue. I don’t think they will depreciate much more again.
Reliable in regular use and servicing costs are reasonable at Aston Martin dealers as they offer fixed price servicing on Gaydon era cars.
Engine sounds awesome and very rapid in daily use.
With ICE cars no longer available new in a few years a V12 manual Aston Martin will always be sought after. Not cheap to buy and low build numbers will maintain exclusivity. A cliche perhaps, but it’s appearance in two Bond movies will support desirability and low term values.
It’s a very attractive and enjoyable car to drive and own.

The DBS manual seems to have a rugged resilience to increasing in value! I've owned mine for 6 years and its probably worth what I paid for it but factor in the running costs and its definitely not free motoring
The big costs are brake discs due to corroded bell bolts, £12K. Clutches last 30,000+ miles, servicing is circa £1K PA. Look out for old tyres, if they need replacing go for Michelin Pilots 4S'

The title of this topic might not apply, following the colour change.
Would you want to buy any modern Aston Martin, which has had a respray colour change ?
It does not matter with the older cars, hence there are far more Silver Birch DB5s now, than ever drove out of the Newport Pagnell factory.
I barely watched a couple of this guy's videos but it is just like actors really. They need to be in new movies to remain relevant and to be in new movies they need to stay relevant.
Car (and not only) YouTubers are the same. Who is going to follow if he is just documenting an oil change on his 2009 DBS? He needs to always do something grand, "worth" watching for the majority.
This is why I like low key guys like Harry Metcalfe; his updates are far more realistic and believable most of the time. And even with les grands gestes like going to the Artic in a Rolls-Royce bought on eBay, you can tell he is genuine, he would have done it anyway, even without his channel.
