Got a limited 'do' coming up. Want to not have loads of glass / crockery / cutlery complications (rental, bust my own etc.). So would appreciate recommendations for non-floppy paper plates, non-bendy/breaking placky knives/forks and reasonably solid/elegant plastic pint/tumbler/wine glasses.

Brands and where to get them....

A few years ago, my aunt had a "tea party"

She bought all the sets of cups saucers, plates and cutlery that were in stock at 3 of her local charity shops, plus some glass wear. And donated them back a week later. They gave her a special price.
She also encouraged her guests to take home anything they liked.
I got a nice little milk jug.

I trust you've given up all single-use plastics in your life then?
Hardly the only two options!

Waitrose will lend you glassware for nought. smile

Buy real stuff from IKEA, then donate it to the Greeks.

Rent out Polycarbonate glassware (good quality plastic stuff that does not break): They deliver and you return it dirty.
