Chaps I have ******@gmail.com which I need to improve. It’s everywhere and I don’t fancy changing all the sites.

If I registered dave@*****.com as a wrapper for the G Mail would I still get the G-mail emails?

Yep. You can set up an email address that forwards everything to gmail. You can set Gmail up to reply with that email address too so your Google one stays hidden*

*at least you used to be able to - I've not used Gmail for years

You can stil do that (sort of) but most email clients will now show 'on behalf of' or similar if you send it through Gmail's servers - to try and crack down on phishing etc.

That's what I do - have email forwarding set up from my domain into gmail.

To avoid "on behalf of" you need to set up the other address in gmail to send via an SMTP server (the one at your domain host). Like this: https://www.lifewire.com/how-can-i-remove-on-behal...

Some clients pick that up now too!
