Just did a bit of a Google search as I thought the series was great, and something just clicked. Paul Ready played Lee the hitman in Utopia, he plays Kevin in Motherland. Pictures of Lee came up and I thought 'he looks familiar from... something' Googled Paul Ready. Motherland. That just blew my brain .





yes I know, actors are supposed to be able to play different characters. Anna Maxwell Martin in Motherland and Line of Duty being completely different too but they are both recent

Just finished Season 1 of this, where on earth has it been? Enjoyed it immensely. Opening scene + a certain scene in episode 3 were incredible (for different reasons!) Plus a great sound track.

Also, going in blind in the midst of a current pandemic has made me sleep with a tin foil hat on.

Bought the sound track a few years ago - it is freaky - I think I might re watch the entire thing, it’s so good

I watched this thinking that at last, the UK can make something equivalent to HBO. Attempted the US remake, managed till some point where the story didn't make sense, it was bad.
