Anyone know the contact details for the above person please? A colleague has had a really stty customer service experience and is wanting to sort it out, once and for all.

I'm not surprised your friend has had poor service, on their twitter @ it is just full of complaints and issues.

BUT i don't think you will be getting the contact details for the CEO of a 4 and a half billion t/o company.

Maybe tell them to start on social media and complain there.

You can get the details on ceoemail.

As a way of sorting things out it can be very effective as there's often a dedicated team to handle this sort of complaint.

Very slim chance that's his actual personal email address. He would have to spend most of the day sorting through crap. As mentioned though, it may be sifted through by a team that could generate a better response to a complaint...but seeing as it's Currys, probably not

How did he pay?

I only ask as I recently got a full refund from my payment provider by claiming my tumble dryer was miss sold.

I stated it was advertised with a 12 months warranty.

And due to their lack of action in repairing mine I simply stated it had not got a workable warranty.

Might be worth a try, worked for me.

I tried this once (can't remember which company it was). I emailed an individual (the CEO) and got a reply from "Executive Complaints" so I think it's just a way of escalating the issue without having to jump through hoops... So someone actually looks at it rather than following a flowchart. The issue was sorted and I doubt the CEO was ever aware of it.

I have had more luck liberating personal details from companies house and writing to senior people. I had a major issue with DHL when I used to import a bit of stuff from the US. Was getting no where fast but the Finance directors residential address was on CH . I paid my money and then wrote him a letter and posted it so it was in his post on a Saturday. The problem and resulting email hit my inbox at around 0820 on the following monday.

I emailed the CEO of an airline last year after their customer service team had stopped engaging and we were long past their stated times. A manager contacted me within one hour, and the CEO replied personally later in the afternoon (from an iPhone mail app). The refund was back on the card that evening, so sometimes it does work, and you do reach the head honcho.

that was the hope and it did get sorted by that route.

^^^^ this is what happens. EA/PA team deal with it and it goes downwards from the office of the CEO and gets a customer service manager to own it until resolution.... in many companies.

The other thing to try is:

A.Baldock@DixonsCarphone.com
ABaldock@DixonsCarphone.com
BaldockA@DixonsCarphone.com
Baldock.A@DixonsCarphone.com
Baldock@DixonsCarphone.com
Alex.Baldock@DixonsCarphone.com
AlexBaldock@DixonsCarphone.com
BaldockAlex@DixonsCarphone.com
Baldock.Alex@DixonsCarphone.com

Then even things like:

payroll@
itsupport@
hr@

and so on, spam em all I say....

Spamming is a bad idea as it may just mean you get sent into a spam filter.

Polite, short emails outlining the issue and proposed resolution work best.

Going via LinkedIn and Googling senior email addresses worked for me with Virgin Mobile and The Fuel Card Company who were both driving me absolutely insane.

But it didn’t work with Microsoft who I’ve had to give up trying to contact, they are literally the biggest shower of st I’ve ever dealt with, far worse than Sky or BT.
