Are DB9 wing mirror covers the same as early (2006) V8 Vantage ones?

My car has (very poor) C/F covers fitted that I want to replace with gloss black and have found a set from a DB9 but not 100% sure that they will fit.

Any ideas?

That depends on the age of your car. The wing mirrors were changed across all models around 2011 (ish) from smaller ones to larger ones, so as long as your car is of an age to have the earlier smaller ones, the ones from that 2006 car should fit.

I might not have been 100% clear in my first post.

I own a 2006 V8 Vantage and the C/F mirror covers that have been fitted are very poor so I am looking for replacements.

I have seen a set of Glass Black covers advertised from a DB9 and am wondering if these would fit me V8V?

Apparently the Glass black ones advertised are from a DB7 Vantage but say they will also fit DB9 so I am assuming that these will also fit my 2006 V8V?

Hmmmm, I thought the DB7 wing mirrors were different to all the later generation of cars, unless of course some very early DB9's still had DB7 mirrors? If that is the case then I doubt they would fit a V8V.

I'll pass though as I am just speculating now, so will wait for somebody to come along who knows for sure.

I don't remember seeing anything suggesting DB7 wing mirrors were the same as a DB9 / V8V. To the OP, yes the DB9 / V8V mirrors are the same, for the same model years. They are Volvo parts, so you can get replacements without the added Aston tax

Pretty much this ....
DB7 and Early DB9 seem to share a wing mirror, then along comes V8 Vantage with the Volvo mirrors and then V8V and DB9 share a mirror.
So, no, DB7 mirrors do not fit V8V's.

V8V mirrors are from a Volvo S60 apparently. Probably cheaper from Volvo.
