Bike accident on the M4

Saw the aftermath of a horrific accident involving a Triumph Thunderbird on the M4 this morning. So far as I could see the rider had slowed down to come off the Motorway heading eastwards at Swindon and had been collected by a car from the rear. This is the second time in recent weeks I have seen the aftermath of an apparently fatal incident involving a bike hit from the rear (last month a rider was killed by an HGV while stationery at lights on the Eastern edge of Bath.

Keep checking those mirrors when you are slowing down and don't rely on the observation of vehicles behind you.
