Windscreen washer/wiper switch - 3000S

Having successfully repaired a faulty connection for the washer switch, which needed the whole switch assembly to be removed, I can't work out how to reassemble the switch with the (hairclip?) spring which provides the power connection for the single-wipe. I've tried many different combinations, but can't seem to get it in the right place. Any ideas or perhaps (long shot) a photo ?

Also, anyone know what 'grease' to use to lubricate the switch ?

1979 3000S with a RH-mounted switch (DG catalogue reference 16099, page 6.25)

All the other functions of the switch are now okay, so I'd rather not have to buy a new unit.

Send it to me with the other switch and covering carriage and I will put it right for you....I also now have new switches with the correct length arm ex-stock
